Home Landscaping Design and Build
The Client required a Japanese landscape design for the front entry of their home as well as the very steep slope in behind it.
Although working with a relatively small space, Kurisu created a garden design for the entry to match the large scale and formality of the residence. With specimen Japanese pines, raked gravel, and careful placement of a garden gate, this Japanese landscape design suggests expansiveness, while the specimen trees give it maturity.

To make use of a the nearly impossibly steep slope upon which the residence is perched, Kurisu designed winding steps, landscaped along the way with plants to delight the eye. The garden waterfall design at the base of the hill was created to appear as if naturally flowing from the hillside. Benches and a deck allow one to enjoy the soothing sound of the waterfall.
